Taking any requests!

Dear readers,

I have officially graduated from high school. I will be having some free time in my hands so my request of you all is to send me your favourite/hardest poetry pieces to analyse! I figure that this way I will be able to add more content to this blog while enjoying literature's finest works.

Do comment and let me know about any poetry titles you would like me to analyse.

Yours truly,
Matthew Tan

  1. Hey Matthew! I'm so thankful for all the hard work you've put into this blog, it has helped me better than any of my teachers have. Would you mind doing Music and Sentry by Wilfred Owen as well please? Thank you so much. (:

  5. Hi there Matthew! When I was doing my GCSEs I believe it was this exact site I used to write all my notes on the poems and, although nearly 2 years later, I wanted to say a huge thank you! I rediscovered this page just now, whilst helping my younger brother with his English, so thought I'd express my gratitude. Your notes helped me so much and I wish you the best! x -Hannah

  6. Hey Matthew,

Just like the others, I too am indebted to your hard work and detailed commentaries! I am currently doing my AS/A levels so it would be really helpful if you could analyse some more of Wilfred Owen's (less popular) poems, like 'On my songs', 'Storm', 'Music' etc...

    Thanks a lot

  10. Hi! I used your website last year in my IGCSEs and I wanted to say thank you because you helped me so much! Without your notes, I would not have gotten the grade that I did; you helped me a lot more than my teacher. I got an A* :) Do you think you could analyse the poem 'Snipers' by Roger McGough? It would help me in my exams. Once again, thank you!!!

  12. Hello, could you do an analysis for 'The Last Laugh' by Wilfred Owen? I'm currently studying this and other poems by Wilfred Owen for the IB and if you could analyse it, that would be great! Thanks in advance!
